Busy and fun times ahead. Just wait and see!

Here’s a new corporate film I edited and color graded for the famous bed production company; Hilding Anders. Known all over the world for their high-end beds and quality wanted a film, showing the world of Hilding Anders. It’s filmed in Sweden, Norway and Poland on RED (what else?) which I later edited in Final Cut and later on color graded in Color. Was a nice job, though sadly I don’t really sleep that more comfortable in my old bed.

It’s edited in Final Cut and graded in Color. It’s filmed on RED, as usual and since I’m what some people would call me, a RED + Final Cut rockstar, it’s been coming to the level where I’m almost only picking project that’s been shot on RED since my workflow I made and all the scripts I’ve written for the medium and applications running it works so smoothly and almost flawless. It’s been made in four different versions; two for TV, one for the big screen and I also made a special extended cut and it turned out great and both the director, producer, client and ost importantly my self, is extremly happy with the result.

But then again… I’m awesome!

It was a pretty hectic tempo since it was suppose to be shot two weeks ago in Mallorca but since the volcano in Iceland had to say it’s own about that we moved it so it was shot this last week on RED and then I logged it and such on friday. It was edited during the weekend and the grading and online took place monday to tuesday, final online today and of to the TV stations, to be aired on friday. Narrow deadlines, rapid pace, stress.. God I love this job! Enjoy!

It’s filmed on RED and it was the first time I graded something in black and white with these amount of clips which was alot easier said than done. A few issues on the road and for those who think RED + AVID + Final Cut work together… you’re gonna have a very bad day! Since AVID (Which in my opinion was a great editing software… 10 years ago) can’t create an EDL for online in Final Cut without hussle, I ended up onlining all the (106) clips by hand; set in point, out point, insert… But after that it was in and I graded it in color to get the over all black and white feeling to work together with all the clips. It’s in swedish, and way way too much for me to translate into english but in short; How the hell do you want someone to live of a welfare that doesn’t even give the half of the sallery? Raise the bar for swedish welfare system, now!

Here’s a new commercial for Proviva fruit drinks with a breakbumper for their new products. I onlined the footage, painted stuff that’s not suppose to be on screen and finally I graded the piece for over 14 hours straight. Directed by danish Peder Pedersen, which was one of the best directors I’ve worked with over the years, and hope to collaborate with him again. I love the result as did the client, so here you have the new commercial for Proviva. Enjoy!

A new year for Malmö’s soccer club MFF and with their 100th anniversary, the wanted a new commercial for their season card.

With shots from a game versus AIK, with the help of modern technology, I slowed down the time from 100% to almost 15% as the shooter is about to fire of his canon ball shot to win the game. Further more I graded the piece to match the previous color style of the other MFF gigs I’ve made. The music and SFX by Bengt really helped the visual effects and the feeling of time going by really slow. Matrix meet’s soccer? I think so. Awesome.
