Crayon sketch

Me and Ricard made a pitch together for a commercial the other day. Thought I’d put it up here to share it with you. We got the idea after a bottle of wine and thought it would be fun showing the ad from a childs perspective, with crayons. So we brainstormed a little story of a girl being the story teller and her family; a day at the waterpark. We imagined a little girl would sketch it down with crayons with a twist; dolphins and mermaids, seastar and what not. So we sat down and started sketching, and afterwards we scanned it into photoshop, and lay bare the pictures and took them into Maya where we animated the sequence with our different elements into a nice previz. We got really happy with the result. Enjoy!
